| On Friday, August 13 there will be a tour of the Huntington Library starting at 10 am. The tour will take about three hours but people may drop out and go on their own -- and remain until the Huntington closes at 4:30 PM. The tours can accommodate at least 60--3 groups of twenty or 4 groups of 15. And more than 60 if necessary, if given advance notice. There is no separate charge for admission, however you must be registered in order to attend this tour. Contact Edgar Valdivia at (805) 584-6244 and notify him if you plan on attending this tour. Covering 150 acres, the twelve specialized gardens are arranged within a park-like landscape of rolling lawns. Among the most remarkable are the Desert Garden, the Japanese Garden and the Rose Garden. There is also a Teaching Greenhouse.
